On downhole pressure correction in modeling of "intelligent" wells

Abstract


Pressure losses in a horizontal intellectual well due to operation of electro-valves are estimated. Analytical dependence linking bottomhole pressure at the well with pressure in tubing is obtained. Calculations illustrating the pressure losses when the fluid flows through the orifices of the electro-valve have been performed.
