Abstract

Extensive drilling activities within a field often bring about new understanding of reservoir geology following evaluation of new input data. This often results in revision of previously approved petrophysical model due to changes of the dependencies and, hence, the original oil and gas in place. Case studies of three fields with different input data set are presented to demonstrate how to quickly evaluate the impact of reservoir properties on hydrocarbon reserves in place and analyze the degree of variation of properties distribution in the geological space.
